From 2026, the University of Tasmania will offer admission to Year 1 Medicine in Launceston, proudly now delivering the complete medicine program from all three Tasmanian campus locations. If you are an applicant from the north of the state, studying in Launceston will give you the opportunity to study locally throughout your medical degree, utilise the state-of-the-art facilities at the Inveresk Precinct, and form early connections with lecturers, clinicians and health professionals living and working in Tasmania’s beautiful north.
